I have the BLUES

Well, I am sitting on our famous lanai thinking that you don't really realize how blue the sky is until you come to Hawaii (or somewhere with low air pollution). That was the first thing I noticed on our first days here. The blues are really blue and the greens couldn't be more lushes. So this blog is short. It mainly is a pictorial blog of Chinaman's Hat. This is the area across the bay from our lania. So enjoy.

It's like the windy city over here...

This past Sunday Heather and I went to Kaneohe Bay over at the Marine Base. They say it's one of the best beaches but not many can go because of the restricted area. It's awkward getting over there because you actually drive over the runway were the Marines practice landing and taking off... EVERYDAY! As you can see we didn't get in because the water was to rough, however if you had a surfboard or boogie board you could take your chances. This is actually where one of the guys I work with comes to in the morning before work to surf because there is NO coral because the Marines took it out years ago so they could practice there beach landings. On a new note Heather finally got her call, YEAH!! Oh, here is a quick clip from our lanai
